We kicked off the year with our annual DC Modern South Asian Exhibition with special guest Safa Ijaz – Miss Pakistan U.S.A. 2018! The event was co-organized by A&Z Entertainment and hosted by Ali Naveed and Ali Haider-Shah of The Hypeman Group.

- We organized a Fashion Show by top South Asian designers Ambreen Bashir – Designer’s Lounge, Meraki, Tanya’s Collection and Anikaz Trendz, showcasing the latest trends of bridalwear.

Rahul Sharma
Rahul Sharma made his singing debut last year with his single ‘Sun Sada’ and then released ‘Jaaga All Night’ earlier this year. Within a few days of its release, the song garnered over one million views. And now, the recently released song ‘Kehdo Tum,’ a retro-style romantic song, which is Rahul’s third single is already creating a huge buzz.
Anjali Taneja
Anjali Taneja is a DC-based vocalist and songwriter who trained in Indian classical music from a young age, and jazz vocal performance at Princeton University. Her original music weaves together influences from Hindi and Punjabi music, with contemporary R&B. Anjali is currently an Artist-in-Residence at Strathmore Music Center and has performed at Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts, theEagleBank Arena, and various U.S. embassies. She is set to release a series of singles this summer, followed by her debut EP later this year.
MD Creationz
MD Creationz is an Indian dance group whose mission is to create a true, open collaborative space and bring together artists of all walks. They strongly believe that collaboration amongst dancers, musicians, actors, entertainers and others, enhances not only the individual artist but the overall artistic product. As artists who are strongly influenced by various cultures ourselves, they aim to blend the uniqueness of different cultures and bridge the gap through art.
Raga and Strings
Raga and Strings is a dynamic duo producing Indian and English acoustic tunes in the DMV.
Food
5 Tara served a variety of authentic North Indian dishes. The restaurant is located at the Village at Leesburg.
Shake Chilli served sub-continental style halal street food. The restaurant is actually a food truck typically located in northwestern Fairfax County and bordering Loudoun County.
